Coal mining is mainly operated by its subsidiary SDIC Coal Company.

 

By the end of 2010, SDIC Coal Co. realized total assets RMB 37.6 billion, with an annual production capacity of 25.98 million tons. It has concentrated its business in five important areas: Anhui, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia,Central Plain (Henan and Shanxi).
