SDIC is an important investor in China's high-concentration fertilizer sector, mainly engaging in potash and phosphate fertilizer projects. SDIC Xinjiang Luobupo Potassium Salt Co.Ltd., a holding company of SDIC, owns more than 50% of the country's total reserves of potassium salt and will be built into the world's largest production base of potassium sulphate. Its phase-one construction completed owns the annual potassium output of 1.2 million tons and phase-two is desighed to have 1.7 million tons.
