On Nov. 10^th, SDIC Chairman Wang Huisheng went to visit Xiong’an New Area and held matchmaking meeting with his counterparts. Vice Governor of Hebei Chen Gang presided over the meeting.

Wang Huisheng expressed gratitude to the trust and support from the Executive Committee of Xiong’an New Area. He briefed the other side on what SDIC had done in the New Area and SDIC’s reform and development in recent years, especially on its development philosophy, its cooperation with government organs, its advantages in SOE reforms, investment, finance, fund, international business engineering service. He also put forward new suggestions for further cooperation. Wang Huisheng said that the establishment of Xiong’an New Area made by the Central Committee of the CPC was very wise and praised by all the people in China. SDIC attached great important to its establishment and expressed support at the very beginning by setting up a leading group and office. SDIC hoped to take advantage of being an investment holding company, make innovation in financial services, high-end and high-tech industries, health industry, environmental protection industry and engineering services.

Chen Gang expressed welcome to Wang Huisheng and his party. He spoke highly of SDIC’s work in Xiong’an New Area. He pointed out that the establishment of Xiong’an New Area was a historical project planned and pushed by President Xi Jinping. Xiong’an New Area would be built into a demonstration project of innovation. He hoped that SDIC could give full play to its advantage and conduct in-depth cooperation in investment field, financial sector etc..
