On Dec. 5^th, SDIC and Ansteel Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in SDIC headquarters. SDIC Chairman Wang Huisheng, SDIC President Yu Shifeng, Vice President Shi Hongxiang, Ansteel Chairman Tang Fuping, President Yao Lin, Vice President Yu Wanyuan and Vice President Jing Fengru attended the meeting.

Wang Huisheng welcomed the visit of Chairman Tang Fuping and his party and thanked Ansteel Group for its long-term support over the years. He briefed the delegation on SDIC’s role of flexible hands in the national economy as a state-owned investment company with a view to serving the national strategy and people’s aspiration for better life. Wang Huisheng said that Ansteel Group as the cradle of China’s steel industry had a long history. It had made important contribution to China’s economic construction and reform & opening up. When the economy entered the new norm, Ansteel Group had been exploring new ways of supply-side reform and optimizing industrial chain and value chain. He had the hope that the two sides could take this opportunity to give full play to their respective advantages and carry out in-depth and all-round cooperation in project engineering, emerging industries with strategic importance and health & old-age caring industries with a view to achieving win-win results.

Tang Fuping thanked Wang Huisheng for his hospitality. He congratulated SDIC on its achievements as a pilot for state-owned capital reform. He briefed the SDIC side on the latest development of Ansteel Group since the steel industry was in a low tide. Tang Fuping hoped that the two sides could establish long-term and stable relationship of cooperation so as to deepen cooperation in engineering, emerging industry of strategic importance and fund management.

After the meeting, Yu Jianfeng and Yao Dailin signed framework agreement for strategic cooperation on behalf of the two sides.
