On August 23^rd, SDIC and China Association of Poverty Alleviation & Development (CAPAD) signed a strategic cooperation agreement at CAPAD. SDIC Chairman Wang Huisheng and Vice President Qian Meng, CAPAD Chairman Yuan Wensheng and Acting General-Secretary Zhu Xianguo attended the signing ceremony.

Wang Huisheng briefed CAPAD side on the reform of SDIC. He said that SDIC had made clear its strategic orientation of matching for the short board of beautiful life and guiding the emerging industries. It would play its unique role of guiding investment, restructuring and capital operation and it had got A-rating for 14 consecutive years during the annual performance assessment conducted by SASAC. He also talked about what SDIC had done in targeted poverty alleviation and its efforts in industrial investment and poverty alleviation through the operation of Industrial Development Fund for Poverty Stricken Areas and Central SOEs Poverty Alleviation Fund. He hoped that SDIC and CAPAD could conduct broader cooperation.

After the meeting, Qian Meng and Zhu Xianguo signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides.
