SDIC Jingtang Port is a national key coal port and plays an important role in shipping coal from North China to South China.

The port immediately initiated emergency mechanism for transport of coal used for electricity generation after the meeting of SDIC Group, and actively coordinated with related parties to give priorities in loading coal onto ships that are in an urgent need of transporting coal to coal-fired power plants. The port management has also taken measures to tackle any problems that may occur from implementation of the emergency mechanism so as to guarantee the need of key customers.

The port authority coordinates with related parties to shorten the time needed for unloading coal from trains and loading coal onto ships. The operation management center of the port also coordinates with maritime department to simplify the application and approval procedures of coal-loaded ships sailing from the port, gives priority to coal-transport ships to dock at the berth, and raises the efficiency of loading coal onto ships to reduce their docking time. The center has also enhanced coordination with railway department to give priority to unloading coal from trains so as to raise work efficiency.

To realize the goal, SDIC Jingtang Port has worked out detailed plans for operation and taken effective measures to make sure they are well implemented.

Middle ranking management personnel and technicians are deployed to guarantee highly-efficient operation of all production facilities and timely repair is given whenever an equipment problem arises.

SDIC Jingtang Port, with SDIC Group holding a controlling share, is a special coal port designated for shipping coal from North China to South China. Since its establishment in 2008, SDIC Jingtang Port has handled more than 570 million tons of coal used for electricity generation, becoming an important hub of transporting coal from North China to South China. SDIC Jingtang Port will continue to bring its advantages into full play in guaranteeing the transport of coal used for electricity generation, satisfying the needs of people's life and making contributions to stable economic and social progress.
