SDIC General Manager Wang Haibo and his delegation toured the SDIC Shanghai Office Building and SDIC Health Shanghai Caihongwan (Rainbow Bay) Nursing Home for the Elderly for research and study on October 18-19, 2021. SDIC Deputy General Manager Du Wenmin joined the tour.

On October 18, General Manager Wang visited SDIC Shanghai Office Building and SDIC No. 6 Building to inspect the tenants' office area and auxiliary facilities and learn about the functional design of the building, operation and management, and the tenants, etc. Wang was also briefed about the business operation of tenant companies of SDIC Juli Investment Management Co., Ltd., Essence Securities, China National Investment and Guaranty Corporation, SDIC Taikang Trust Co., Ltd., UBS SDIC and SDIC Essence Futures. Wang sent his warm greetings to all staff of the companies.

On October 19, Wang visited SDIC Health Shanghai Caihongwan Nursing Home for the Elderly, learned about its operation and sent his warm greetings to the elderly and staff at the nursing home. Wang toured many areas including the reception hall, old Shanghai style street, clinics, entertainment center, day care center, rehabilitation room, reading room, handwork room, cognitive impairment treatment area, “forget-not” supermarket and elderly dining area, etc. Wang checked the service environment, equipment and facilities, learned about the elderly care services, had friendly talks with the elderly and wished them happy and good health.

Wang highly praised (the team for) their work at the Shanghai Caihongwan Nursing Home for the Elderly. He said that SDIC Health has achieved positive results in adhering to serving the national strategy of Healthy China and taking proactive measures to meet the challenge from the aging population, focusing on serving the physically/mentally challenged senior people, broadening its service to more groups of people and exploring a sustainable development pattern. Facilities at the Caihongwan project are well equipped, employees are in high spirits of service and professional in doing their jobs, and entertainment activities are lively and fun, which has won trust and satisfaction from the elderly at the nursing home. He pointed out that SDIC Health should further strengthen its care-for-details management, exert the advantage of mixed ownership,build a refined standardization system and develop Caihongwan into a first class nursing home for the elderly. He also urged SDIC Health to do a good job in COVID-19 prevention and control, cooperate with the local authorities in implementing their epidemic prevention/control and disinfection requirements and create a safe and comfortable living environment for the elderly. He told SDIC Health to make even greater contribution in the areas of strengthening (management) model innovation, firmly promoting the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, serving the national strategy and further improving the social influence of the group.

During his stay in Shanghai, General Manager Wang paid a visit to Shanghai Vice Mayor Wu Qing and exchanged opinions on further enhancing regional cooperation, joining hands for common development and making new progress in cooperation between SDIC Group and Shanghai.
