SDIC Oil & Gas Terminal Co., Ltd. and Tialoc Group signed an agreement on the procurement of design and construction of a gasoline vapor recovery facility at SDIC Oil & Gas Terminal Yangpu on November 5, 2021 in Yangpu, Hainan Province. The two sides also held in-depth discussion and exchanged views on project construction.

SDIC Oil & Gas Terminal Yangpu is a controlling-share enterprise invested by SDIC Communications Holding Co., Ltd. and mainly involves in the businesses of oil loading/unloading, storage, transit shipment, distribution and bonded service, etc.. Tialoc is a controlling-share enterprise invested by China National Complete Import & Export Co., Ltd and enjoys a strong advantage in the treatment of exhaust gas and VOCs containing tail gas. SDIC Oil & Gas Terminal Yangpu is active in the implementation of green development philosophy, earnestly implements the environment protection work arrangement of SDIC Group and SDIC Communications, and invests more than 14 million yuan RMB in construction of the gasoline vapor recovery facility at the port. The facility includes ship-to-shore connection safety module, exhaust gas transmission module, condensation module, absorption module and oil collection module as well as auxiliary facilities. The designed gasoline vapor recovery capacity is 2500Nm³/h (elastic design + 10%), which is able to recover and process gasoline vapor of 50,000-tonnage berth and 300,000-tonnage berth. The facility will adopt the “condensation + absorption” gasoline vapor recovery technique, which enables majority of gasoline vapor in gas mixture to be directly recovered and turned into liquid gasoline and separate the remaining gasoline vapor by means of special absorption technique and the air. The whole system constantly circulates the above-mentioned process to recover gasoline vapor and prevent gasoline vapor from polluting the air.

Both SDIC Oil & Gas Terminal Yangpu and Tialoc are SDIC member enterprises, and this cooperation has upgraded Tialoc's project contracting ability to more than 10 million yuan RMB level from its previous million yuan RMB level, which has substantially enhanced Tialoc's ability to win similar-sized project contracts in the future and has laid a solid foundation for its development in the domestic market.
