On July 14, 2022, SDIC Chairman Fu Gangfeng and SDIC General Manager Wang Haibo met Vice President Li Zhongping of the Chinese Academy of Engineering at the SDIC headquarter in Beijing.

Chairman Fu and General Manager Wang welcomed Academician Li for attending the SDIC chief scientist appraisal meeting. Fu stressed that with the top priorities of the country in the heart, SDIC regards serving the national strategy as its mission and responsibility. As a state-owned capital investment company, SDIC will give full play to its advantages of a comprehensive investment company, continue to promote the close integration of investment, finance and sci-tech innovation and deepen synergized innovation to boost industrial development.

Vice President Li expressed his gratitude to Chairman Fu and General Manager Wang for their warm reception. He said that innovation is the first power to drive development and talented people are the decisive factor in tackling the bottleneck of core technologies. He suggested SDIC continue to promote the deepening of production, education and research integration so as to create more high quality scientific research results.

Present at the meeting were SDIC Board Secretary Li Baolin,Director Zhao Jinsheng of the Operation and Risk Management Department, and Deputy Director Bian Shuguang of the High-Tech Development Center of the Science and Technology Department.
