China Inorganic Salts Industry Association has recently invited SDIC Xinjiang Luobupo Potash Co., to the International Seminar on the Development of Potassium Resources in Laos, and SDIC Potash Chairman Li Shoujiang led a team to attend the seminar.

At the seminar, SDIC Potash delegation listened attentively to the presentations by the relevant departments of the Lao government on the management, survey and exploration procedures of mining investment projects in Laos, and the introduction of the mining and processing technologies of potash salt mines in Laos. The delegation also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with representatives of a number of companies on the practical experiences in potash granulation, green mining and equipment manufacturing.

The delegation visited the Chinese enterprise-funded potash production base in Kameng Province of Laos. During their field research, they carried out a detailed investigation on the underground mining work site of the Lao potash enterprise, the main control room of mineral processing production workshop, the finished product storage area of potash fertilizer, poverty alleviation projects, industrial parks and other links ranging from mining, transportation, processing, production and packaging to the humanistic construction of the enterprise. The delegation also conducted an in-depth discussion with the participating experts on topics of resource endowment, mining technology, backfill technology and development conditions, etc.

In the future, SDIC Potash will continue to do a good job in finding potassium resources and increasing its potassium reserves through scientific and technological development, while actively answering the call of the Belt and Road Initiative. This will help the company integrate itself into the global potash supply chain, industry chain and value chain, strengthen cooperation with high-quality enterprises in the Belt & Road countries, and jointly promote the technological progress and prosperity of the potash industry.
