On June 13th, 2025, the municipal government of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, held a ceremony to confer the “City Guardian Medal” to those who contributed to the disaster relief work following the earthquake on March 28th. C&G Environmental Protection (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Newsky Energy (Bangkok) Co., Ltd., both of which are enterprises invested by Newsky Energy of SDIC Power, received this medal.

On March 28th, 2025, a powerful 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Mandalay region in Myanmar, affecting Bangkok and causing serious damages. The Bangkok municipal government immediately declared a state of emergency and launched full-scale disaster relief work. By upholding the humanitarian spirit of “when disaster strikes, help comes from all sides”, Newsky Energy’s subsidiaries in Thailand, while ensuring the safety of their personnel and the project sites, cooperated with the Thai government in carrying out earthquake relief work. Two hours after the earthquake, the CSR team of the companies sent two groups of people to the Luang Phor Taweesak Chutinataro Hospital and the Ratchaphiphat Hospital in Bangkok, assisting the hospitals in the successful transfer and resettlement of over 300 patients and providing 720 bottles of portable water on-site, which addressed the water shortage for medical use.
