Recently, the foreign aid business of CEEDI under SDIC has achieved another milestone, by winning the bid for the China-aided Port Vila Road Upgrade and Renovation Project (Vanuatu). This marks its first successful bid since obtaining new municipal engineering qualifications for foreign aid projects, representing a crucial breakthrough for CEEDI in the municipal sector of foreign aid and further expanding its scope of foreign aid business.

By upgrading road infrastructure and optimizing the urban transportation network, the project will substantially raise the municipal construction standards of Port Vila, Vanuatu’s capital. Serving as a key platform for deepening bilateral friendly cooperation between China and Vanuatu, the project fully demonstrates China’s sense of responsibility and commitment in foreign assistance and enhances the brand image of China’s foreign aid initiatives.
